Luxurious four-season log cabin on Saddleback Lake located just 200 feet from the Saddleback Lake XC Ski Loop Trail and minutes from Saddleback Mountain Ski Area (Sugarloaf/USA is a 40 minute drive). We offer the most private winter rental at the best rate in the Saddleback Mountain Ski Area! Five acres of pure privacy with almost 1,000 feet of private shore front including a private beach and camping area. Enjoy outstanding lake and mountain vistas! Fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, Jenn-air gas range with convection oven and plenty of pots, pans, dishes, serving dishes, etc.), 3 bedrooms (queen, double, 3 twins), 1.5 baths, loft, finished walk-out basement (new fusball table with a second DIRECTV receiver), and full wrap-around deck with Weber gas grill. Canoe the lake, walk to the point, or climb Saddleback Mountain right from the trails by this rental home. A 10X10 float, two canoes, and a small kayak is available for your fun on the lake. Guests also will enjoy full use of the Saddleback Lake Lodge tennis courts, canoes, rowboats and beach.

Vacation Rental Policies

Payment Options: Cash and Checks

Check-In/Check Out: Weekly rentals in Summer (The week prior to July 4th through Labor Day) run Saturday 2:00 pm to Saturday 10:00 am. For other times, check in time is 2:00 pm and checkout time is 10:00 am unless other arrangements are made (which we are happy to do if scheduling allows).

Minimum Stay: 1 week in summer, Two-night minimum in Spring and Fall, Three-night minimum for Winter rentals December 22 through April 1.

Cancellation Policy: Once we have received your signed rental agreement and deposit, if you cancel prior to 30 days of your rental start date AND we re-rent the home for that period, your deposit will be returned. If you cancel 30 or less days before rental start date you are still responsible for the entire rental amount. However if the home is re-rented, your rental amount will be refunded. If the home is NOT re-rented for the entire rental period, a pro-rated amount will be returned.

Deposits: 1/3 due for weekly or longer rental, 1/2 due for rentals under one-week

Other Fees: All linens, towels, kitchen supplies and cleaners are supplied. We do NOT charge a cleaning or security deposit fee HOWEVER you are responsible for leaving the cabin as it was when you arrived (see rental agreement). The expectation is that our cleaners will have the home ready for the next renters after one-hour of cleaning The Governor says we need to collect 7% Maine Lodging Tax. This will be added to your amount due. Bummers!
